FAQ

There's some things that users ask us a lot, so we compiled a list of said questions to make it easier for everyone!

What is MailSauce?

MailSauce is an online email marketing solution to manage subscribers, send emails, and track results. Our mission is to make a cheap, affordable emailing platform that can be used by anyone.

Why was MailSauce created?

We didn't think that other email services were doing it right. Their platforms seemed overly-complicated with technical rubbish that most people are simply not interested in. These other tools seemed overpriced, restrictive (unless you bought the most expensive package), and graphically poor with very little care for the user experience. We wanted to change that - which is why we gave birth to the ultimate hero, the one to rule them all...MailSauce!

Why is MailSauce so cheap?

We believe that people should be charged fairly for what they use, and no more than that. If the cost of running MailSauce was cheaper, the prices would reflect that. We only charge what we need to, with profit margins being a low priority.

What is the difference between the 3 paid packages?

There's only 2 differences; the number of emails you can send per month and the number of MailSauce loot crates you get when you signup. Everything else is the same across the board. Unlike a lot of email services, we don't restrict features to more expensive packages, we just let our peeps run loose with access to everything. There's no fun in trying to use a feature, and then being greeted with a huge "please upgrade to do this" pop-up. Emailing should be simple and cost-effective, and MailSauce is!

How long does the free package last for?

It lasts forever! As long as you don't need to send more than 5,000 emails per month, this package will work just fine for you. When your audience has grown so much that you need to start sending more than 5,000 emails per month, you can easily just upgrade your account. It's super easy!

How often does MailSauce get updated?

We work tirelessly to try make this platform better every single day, so we are updating the website as we make changes. If you're interested on our progress, we do keep a changelog of all the updates which is available in our documentation, we also post roadmaps and updates to our twitter and blog section.

What is the point of the documentation?

In short, the documentation is the web-equivalent of an instructional booklet. It contains instructions about how to effectively use our platform and how to troubleshoot any issues. In the documentation you should be able to find the correct guidance you need to complete any task in MailSauce. For example, if you're struggling to create a message, you could go read our full section specifically about messages, which will walk you through the correct process of creating a message, the type of message you should use, and how to use a message in a campaign. Have a read whenever you're having a hard time doing something and let us know if we've missed anything so we can add it 🙂
